“Run your fingers through my soul. For once, just once, feel exactly what I feel, believe what I believe, perceive as I perceive, look, experience, examine, and for once; just once, understand.”
I saw you today, Your shirt, The one you wore the first time we met. It was a beautiful day, But hot. Rode in a bus, a dirty bus To a Tennessee church camp. Who would have known?
Who would have known What we'd become. Avoided you at first, But then your eyes... they drew me in. Late night talks Stealing looks across the room Bloomed. Who would have known?
Who would have known We'd fall in love, All butterflies Sneaking kiss My friends revolt, "Don't fall for him!" They cautioned me. Who would have known?
Who would have known How much time would pass How much we talked How close we grew. We fought little Trusted lots From so far away. Who would have known?
Who would have known How hard it would become. Unrequited love Shut in a box, caged It could have worked, From my perspective Not yours. Who would have known?
Who would have known I'd give you up My love My heart decays, It wilts But love's eternal, it will not die Who would have known? Not me.
the soft diamond falls and blooms upon the girl's cheek as she gasps for air.
tethered to a tree the colors of the rainbow dance in solitude.
kiss the rose petals: flashbacks of haunting memories sprint to the surface.
whispered lullabies, like lions in the jungle crouch beneath the wave.

Because of love They kingdom has come Bearing me a heart of love. Imparting the understanding of Thy's Divine nature. To give oneself Selflessly obeying thy father. As heaven and earth collide My flesh and blood will fail But my love will live on in the perfect Way he made me. Thy kingdom is coming Only through faith one will see this Glorious kingdom. In this sinful nature we were born one Rises from the dust through faith. Trusting in the plan of my Father in heaven. Trust in the love God has given me. Trust in the person who I shall spend my life with. Growing closer to our father as we grow older, wiser. Thy spirit gives us strength. Gives us hope. Gives us our blessing. Bestow them upon us as we praise You. Flood our hearts with your burning Love. Fill our souls with your calming Voice. Love our love for one another glorify you. For you have brought two broken souls Together. Together you have made us one. I feel her pain as she feels mine. Continue to bless us Father, as we continue to love.
I love you Savannah.

Do not be offended these are just my defenses I put them up in fear of pain I continue to work Work and work On breaking down these iron curtains I cannot Do this alone In this battle I need you My general My chief of staff My love My better half I continue to wrestle with God About these wounds I have suffered I have suffered through pain that eats away at my core Please be patient I know I drive you away But you have already helped me I now trust J--- Before I can walk I must crawl So continue to pray for me I need the strength God is here with me Teach me to let go Teach me to love Teach me to trust Teach me to trust Teach me to trust Teach me to trust those I love I don't want you to say those words Those words that make me break down And weep Weep and weep I love you Sav Sav bear love baby babe You mean the world to me Please Please Do not give up Please help me Remove those arrows that are tearing my heart in two because Savannah Idk what I'd do if I lost you Although I worry and fret Over analyze Over think Over complicate I love you These are my defenses I try to control my world But my world should be our world And our world is controlled by The one who has the plan that brought Us together The one who we praise for our love The one who makes all things new The one who frees the enslaved The one who heals the broken hearted The one who will make our love grow With him in the equation WE WILL NOT SURRENDER I love you Savannah I'm sorry for everything...

To my love: You are the woman for me I love the way you look at me I love your smile I love how silly we are I love that little voice you talk to me in I love how close we are I love how we are best friends I love how our love has grown I love how our faith has grown I love how in love I am with you I hope you sleep well & I hope you are okay. I would do anything for you!!! I love you!!
So broken, here I stand Waiting for the shower Of your love to rain down. My arms spread wide And my heart is pierced Awaiting your healing, But you don't come And I'm still waiting, Calling, searching, aching; O let it rain; let it rain. Lord, heal my heart, Teach me to see Your love for me, And let me know You don't let go; I'll cling to you, But Lord it's hard To always trust That you are on my side. The dark one steals, kills, and destroys Your beautiful creation. So strike him down, You rule over all The big and small. I need you now Like never before, Please guard my heart And let it grow Closer to you And know the truth. You are the Way; You are the Truth; You're in me Lord, And so I say I'm alive to live for you. So in my hour of dark despair I'll call to you My shepard, care For me, your sheep, My soul you keep. And start the light Glowing in me To praise your son Who's love rains down; It rains.
So hurt, I cry; I miss your hugs, your eyes, Your lips, your touch, Your arms, your heart, Your words, your mind, Your laugh, and smile; I cry, I cry, I cry, I miss your time, Your presence, your hands, Your texts, your warmth, Your chest, your smell; I hurt for you; I miss you so; I fell for you; I can't let go.
So lost; so numb; so hurt; We should be playing in the snow, Stealing kisses Between fits of laughter, And I'd tickle you, And laugh with you, my prince.
So cold; alone, I cry; Scratching at my eyes To rid myself of your beautiful face, Your sweet touch, And smile; your lips; Your beautiful blue eyes.
Should be sipping hot chocolate in your arms; I love those arms; I miss; Should have told you sooner, I forgive you; I love you; I miss you; come back. So lost; so cold; so broken.
I'm Savannah. I love flowers. I like to write. I'm an introvert. I read alot. And play soccer. I like the color blue and having my nails painted. I will go out of my way to stomp on that crunchy leaf.
