Trying to make Apologetics half-way interesting...

Like seriously, most boring class ever. I've taken lately to writing poems during class. Here's one I wrote last week.

Stop.
And look around

Embrace the outer world

Go.
Out and explore
Experience true love

Release.
Your inner fear
Let nothing hold you back

Be.
Who you are
You only have one chance

Sing.
Of peace and joy
Rest easy in your heart

Live.

With heart set free
We all end up the same

So Far Apart

I gaze at stars

You see the same

Look into past

The seasons change

I loved you then

I miss you now

Beauty majestic

Standing in moonlight

Hair let down

I reach for you

So far apart

Neither forgot

But never speak

Come home

Into my arms

Once more.

Kiss

I don't really like this poem, so much as I like the idea behind it of the increasing amount of syllables per stanza. But here it is:

Eyes

Lips

Waist

Touch

Eyes closed

Breath stopped

Tip-toed

Waiting

Make your move

Don’t be shy

Hurry up

I’m ready

My lips are set

Hungry for yours

Lean into me

Body on mine

Back against the wall

Your hands on my waist

Joined together now

I love your sweet taste

I’m lost in the moment

Never want it to end

With lips soft as chocolate

I’m so glad that you’re mine.

I really hate titles

Like seriously! They're so hard to come up with, and I just get frustrated. Anyways, here's another poem. It's untitled :)

Stepped on a plane and didn’t know
The girl you came to save,
The plane took off, began to go
Toward a broken slave.

I missed the one I loved so much,
To him I was ensnared,
Then in walked you with loving touch,
But feelings made me scared.

With time I did begin to see
That letting go was best,
Relaxed, sat back, and let it be,
I passed this trying test.

Now that’s behind and you’re still here;
Thank you for what you’ve done.
You’ve been with me through smile and tear,
And been my own bright sun.

You’ve seen me at my very worst
And still stayed by my side,
With happiness this makes me burst,
While for you I feel pride.

You’re worth it till the very end,
We’re gonna see this through,
With you I don’t have to pretend,
We’re good friends, me and you.

Spinning

I’m spinning around

About to fall down

The world is a blur

All morphed into one.

I try to desist

But the more I resist

The harder it gets

Succumb to the spin.

Continual chaos

Is raging within

Can’t make sense of life

Wherever I spin.

I want it to stop

To distinguish between

The black and the white

The red and the green.

I cry out in fear

And shed a stray tear

It’s too much confusion

For one spinning girl.

So dizzy, I stumble

And fall to the ground

You reach down a hand

And utter a sound.

“Stand up my dear Princess

Stop spinning around

Hold tight onto Me

And soon you’ll be free.”

I followed in awe

And thereafter saw

A beautiful sight

A city, gold bright.

He led me inside

Through vast pearly gate

Then smiled and said

“My child, you’re home.”

My Life is Average

... is my all time favorite web site. Here are a few of today's posts that made me laugh.

Last night my friend burned her forehead. Not only did she come to school today with a batman band-aid over it, whenever it would sting she put her hand to her head and hissed "Voldemort is near". Now I remember why she's my friend. MLIA

I work as a waitress at a breakfast restaurant, and today, I brought a credit card receipt back to a table to be signed. Instead of signing it, he drew a picture of a whale swimming on the signature line. Skeptical, I turned the credit card over to look at the signature on the back. A whale swimming. MLIA

Today, my English teacher, who has had a crazy looking beard since the start of school, nonchalantly in the middle of class said, "Man, this thing is itchy", and took the beard off. Needless to say, we are baffled. MLIA

Today, I opened a bag of dove chocolate. My mom said I could only eat two since dinner was going to be ready soon. The first chocolate I opened said "Sometimes breaking the rules is more fun." I ate ten. MLIA

Today, I was doing PR for our city police department and talking to kids about 911. I asked a group of preschoolers if any of them could tell me what their address was. A little girl immediately raised her hand and told me that a dress was a something you pulled over your head to wear. Best answer I heard all day. MLIA.

Drawing a Blank

So I was writing a letter and couldn't think of what to say. I remembered my english teacher from sophomore year who always told the class to just write whatever randomness you think when you get writers block in an essay or something. This is what I wrote in that random-I-can't-think time. Sorry the beats are like so off haha.

I’ve you to thank

For my mind so blank

I know not what to say

Though I’ve pondered it all day

I don’t know

What direction to go

It’s not well

So much to tell

Peace is what I want

For heart pulled so taunt

I’m freaking out inside

I can’t believe you lied

You hurt me bad

I should be mad

But I love you

Idk why I do

My heart cries out

I know not what about

Because of what you’ve done

I have become

Someone

I don’t recognize.
