This one is kinda rough because I haven't done the final copy of it, so the meter is skewed and some of the words aren't amazing, but here it is anyways.
Running with arms spread wide
My sense of joy I just can't hide
With heart finally set free
This is how I'm supposed to be.
No past to strap me down
I simply skip and hop around
Refreshing air pour into lungs
A freedom song breaks forth.
Enjoy the red, the green, and blue
My loftiest dreams have come true
With pain stripped off and comfort on
I hope this feeling lasts all life long.
Move forward with strength and smile
I'll survive through any a mile
Euphoric nights and splendid days
To live this way I'll love always.
Your degrading words can't bring me down
I live in green, not black and brown
I love my life
So free of strife, and filled with love.
