Dear Friend

I wrote this for a friend.


You changed my life,
Taught me to see
Past all the strife
And let it be.

Forget the past,
Embrace the now,
Life moves so fast,
Till final bow.

Until that day,
Want you to live
Till you can say
“My all I give”.

Pour out your love
And speak words true,
Spread peace of dove
In all you do.

And in return
You will be blessed
In what you learn
From life’s hard test.

Rejoice for all,
Even times sad,
And hear the call,
It’s not all bad.

With faith and trust
Go hand in hand,
Take joy you must
To promised land.

Thank you so much
For all you’ve done,
Your helpful touch,
And been my sun.

In all you do,
The tales you tell,
